Character Information

A farmer-turned-teacher-turned-Expeditioner with a sunny personality and unique relationship with death. Sciel is a member of Expedition 33: a group dispatched from the island city of Lumiére (a place designed in the style of Belle Époque France) to try and bring down a god-like entity called the Paintress, whose powers erase everyone of a certain age each and every year.

Appearance

Athletic, freckled, and lithe, Sciel's appearance generally reflects a life spent farming before her training and time with the Expedition. She has several prominent scars, including the one across her nose and a fresher one over her navel which she isn't shy about displaying (as she's typically wearing a cropped shirt and jacket). She looks her 32 years, though her bright disposition and chaotic energy can often give her the air of someone slightly younger. She doesn't put the most care into her appearance since that hasn't been anywhere on her list of priorities lately, so while she'll absolutely be making use of the opportunity to not have to bathe in a river, she may be walking around with mussed hair or a fleck of blood or two more often than she's aware.

A combatant (particularly with her scythe) so talented that Maelle calls her "the best fighter she knows" and the most recent Gestral Arena Champion. A charismatic conversationalist, seasoned flirt, and empathetic confidant. A dancer, and a believer in and practitioner of such things as 'talking to the stars' & tarot. A survivor with both extreme emotional resilience and basic outdoor skills in her tool set.
